New Westminster: October 2-4 (Dress Rehearsal, Oct 1)
Rehearsals:Rehearsals running August 2nd - September 22nd.
Taking place at 10660 City Parkway, Surrey.

(Rehearsals will be Sunday daytime & Tues/Thurs evenings up until show opening. Two additional back-up rehearsals will be scheduled based on cast availability.  Tech week schedule TBD.)

This role requires a high skill level of piano playing, singing ability and performance. Comedic skills, some dance and ability to improv are assets.

Vocal range: Bb3-E5 (as written, but can be transposed)

Grade 9 RCM piano ability for the most difficult passages of music
Honourarium:$90 per performance
Auditions:Auditions by electronic submission.
- 2 min video recording accompanying yourself singing a comedic song.
- 1 min comedic monologue sample.

THE SUSPECTSThis role requires a high skill level of piano playing, singing ability and performance. Comedic skills, some dance and ability to improv are assets. This fast paced, 90-minute, musical whodunnit features two actors who act, sing and play the piano throughout. They accompany themselves, each other and sometimes play together. The actor cast as THE SUSPECTS needs a high energy and versatile performance that can switch between the 10 different characters at the drop of a hat. 

Vocal range: Bb3-E5 (as written, but can be transposed)

Grade 9 RCM piano ability for the most difficult passages of music.
25-40 years old
female presenting
All ethnicities and backgrounds are encouraged to audition.

  • Marketing Assistant

Responsibilities

● Learning and creating graphic images for Instagram, Facebook and Twitter

● Using Buffer and Meta to post for the company

● Learning to write and build newsletters on Moosend and press releases for next years productions

● Content creation

● Working with the Market director to create marketing plans for the 2023/2024 season

● Learning to create posters and pamphlets for upcoming productions

● Applicant will need to be able to work remotely

 

Qualifications:

● Confidence with Social Media, especially Facebook and Instagram

● Experience with Microsoft Word or Pages and writing effectively

● Ideal candidate has good organisational skills and attention to detail

● Experience with online systems like Canva and Buffer are a plus

● Fluent in English

Remuneration: $16.75

Commitment: 30 hours a week for 8 weeks
Starting Date: June 6, 2023

Stef is a 2019 graduate of the triple threat program at Randolph College for the Performing Arts in Toronto. Jacqueline has been performing in pantomimes with Royal Canadian Theatre Company for well over a decade, and going to see Ellie’s pantos for over two! You may have seen her in recent roles such as Prince Roland (Snow White), Sinbad (Sinbad, the Pirate, and the Dinosaur), and Puss (Puss in Boots).
