Buy your tickets to our upcoming fundraiser: Karaoke Night! We have limited tickets available and cover is only $10! We plan to hold this event from 7:30pm to 10:30pm (3 hours of singing!)

Join us for an evening of Karaoke! Hosted by the Royal Canadian Theatre Company, we want you to join us for an evening of empowering, fun and silly evening. Rock out to classic tune, grab a friend for a musical duet or serenade the crowd with your favourite song. We are open to all abilities and anyone who wants to enjoy a musical, cheerful evening among friends.

We have limited tickets so everyone gets to sing. All funds go towards our upcoming 2024/2025 season and our annual mentorship program so we can work to provide Sign Language interpretation and specialized support for children who need it.

Learn to Act, Sing and Dance with the Royal Canadian Theatre Company!

Embark on a journey through the enchanting world of musical theatre with Tahlia Wine and Kelly Zhou, two passionate performers dedicated to nurturing talent and fostering creativity. With several years of experience in the spotlight, Tahlia and Kelly bring a wealth of knowledge and infectious enthusiasm to every class.

In RCTC’s classes, students will explore the fundamentals of musical theatre, including vocal techniques, basic dancing and choreography, building characters, and stage presence. Through personalized instruction and constructive feedback, our instructors empower each student to discover their unique voice and express themselves with confidence on stage.

Whether you’re a emerging performer or stepping into the spotlight for the first time, let us guide you on a journey of self-discovery, creativity, and endless possibilities. Our classes end with a performance where parents are invited to watch what their kids have been able to learn and create. Unleash your potential, ignite your passion, and let the magic of musical theatre transform you into a star!

Marketing Assistant (Canada Summer Jobs)

Dates of Employment: June 10 to August 2

Commitment: 30 hours a week (240 hours total)

Job Description: This is a part-time, seasonal role offered through the Canada Summer Jobs Grant. The start date is June 10, 2024 and is 30 hours a week for 8 weeks. The Marketing Assistant will be working under the direction and mentorship of the current General Manager, Crystal Weltzin.

MUST BE:
- between 15 and 30 years of age at the start of employment.
- a Canadian Citizen, permanent resident or person who has been granted refugee status under the immigration and protection act.
- legally entitled to work in Canada in accordance with relevant provincial legislation and regulations. International students are not eligible participants. Recent immigrants are eligible if they’re Canadian citizens or permanent residents.

Remuneration:
$17.40
