The Royal Canadian Theatre Company is a theatrical and event entertainment producing not-for-profit society.

RCTC has been in operation since 2006 to the present, working with their community to bring new and interesting stories at reasonable prices for all.

We firmly believe that every person deserves to be a part of live performance and were the first company in the Fraser Valley Relaxed Performances to audiences in Surrey and New Westminster who have intellectual disabilities, physical disabilities, anxiety, autism and/or economic difficulties.

We have supported other local charities, including the food bank, through monetary donations and other theatre companies as a prop, set, and costume lender.

RCTC is proud to offer children and youth acting classes in partnership with the Clayton Community Centre in Surrey.

Your donation in June could help us win $20,000! Join us in the #GivingChallengeCA and make a difference today.

The theater exists as a safe space in that it is an empty space. It is a place that is meant to be filled with people, stories, and songs. The magic of theater rests in its ability to transport us to alternate locales in order to encounter a range of perspectives on the world.

Happy Pride Month from everyone at RCTC!

“A theatre is the most important sort of house in the world, because that’s where people are shown what they could be if they wanted, and what they’d like to be if they dared to be and what they really are.”

The Giving Challenge is here! [From our Facebook feed... occasionally information on social media may be more current or dated relative to this site.]

The Giving Challenge is here! Our goal is $1000 to help us transition into our next season. We left our last season in a good place and we are excited for our next season in Surrey and New Westminster as well as our next set of lessons at the Clayton Community Centre.

We know that prices are going up for everything: food, gas, and interest rates for example. So we decided we are going to keep our ticket prices the same and offer you the same amazing deals we did last year. You can purchase season tickets now with New Westminster and they will be on sale soon in Surrey. Our family pack and group packages are available so you can bring your friends and family!

NEW: We are changing our Senior/Under 12 ticket! NOW, this ticket is a Senior/Student ticket for $29.99 (box office fees apply). Simply show your student ID to take part in this awesome deal.

If you have enjoyed seeing our shows, or you kids have taken part in our classes, please consider donating to our non-profit so we can continue bringing you entertainment, acting classes and (hopefully this summer) free seminars to improve your skills.

Thank you so much!
