Rehearsals:	Rehearsals: While there is some flexibility in the rehearsal schedule for conflicts if you are not available, in general, for the set rehearsal schedule either ask about your conflicts or do not submit. First Read September 20, 6pm Sept - Dec: Tuesdays 6:30-10pm (Principals only), Sundays 12-6pm (ALL) There will be reserve rehearsals for Principal characters starting Thursdays Nov 17th. **There will be a Saturday Rehearsal for ALL cast on Saturday, December 12th
Casting non-union roles - Honourarium Paid	All ethnicities and backgrounds are encouraged to audition. Singing and dancing required for all characters. Character descriptions below. Please include the character you'd like to audition for in your subject line when applying.

Silly Billy	$75/performance - principal	Idle Jack character. They are friends to all the children in the audience and brother to Jack and Lucy. Has great ideas that tend to get him daydreaming. Level Lucy	$75/performance - principal	Idle Jane character. Smart, savvy and clever. Sister to Jack and Billy, constantly keeping them in line and focused. Auditions: Murder For Two – CLOSED

Showdates:	Surrey: September 25-27 (Dress Rehearsal, Sept 24) New Westminster: October 2-4 (Dress Rehearsal, Oct 1)
Rehearsals:	Rehearsals running August 2nd - September 22nd. Taking place at 10660 City Parkway, Surrey. (Rehearsals will be Sunday daytime & Tues/Thurs evenings up until show opening. Two additional back-up rehearsals will be scheduled based on cast availability. Tech week schedule TBD.)
Casting non-union roles - Honourarium Paid	This role requires a high skill level of piano playing, singing ability and performance. Comedic skills, some dance and ability to improv are assets. Vocal range: Bb3-E5 (as written, but can be transposed) Grade 9 RCM piano ability for the most difficult passages of music

THE SUSPECTS	This role requires a high skill level of piano playing, singing ability and performance. Comedic skills, some dance and ability to improv are assets. This fast paced, 90-minute, musical whodunnit features two actors who act, sing and play the piano throughout. They accompany themselves, each other and sometimes play together. The actor cast as THE SUSPECTS needs a high energy and versatile performance that can switch between the 10 different characters at the drop of a hat. Responsibilities

Prepare 1.25 hour class plans for beginner and intermediate musical theatre participants. Teach or co-teach 1.25 hours for groups of children between the ages of 7-12 musical theatre.
Keep children safe at all times while teaching.
Attend all classes for which they are requested to teach, on time and prepared to work and will present themselves in a professional manner at all times. Specific dates communicated beforehand can be covered by substitute instructors.
Take good care of props and costumes loaned to them for the class, understanding that any damage caused other than during the class (i.e. spilt coffee) will be their liability.
Adhere to all known City Policies including the Code of Conduct, Supporting Children and Youth and the RCTC Class Agreement policies.
Send monthly invoices for remuneration.
