Finally, we would like to introduce you to our amazing musical Director: the late Geoff King.
He was magic on the keyboard and always greeted you with a kind smile and a quick wit. We have the profound blessing of having worked with him for the past 16 years and the gift of his final music for “The Snow Queen: A Frozen Adventure”.
We miss you, specifically when you wore your all white suit and glowed in the blacklights you built for us. Rest in Peace.
Today, I have the honour of introducing you to our Director (and Company Artistic Director!), Kerri Norris! She is a busy woman who is an intrepid and organized leader.
Don’t forget to buy your tickets to “The Snow Queen: A Frozen Adventure”!
More about Kerri Norris: It’s been a busy fall but it’s exciting to be back with our annual holiday tradition! Kerri directed last year’s Panto Alice in Wonderland and has long been a member of the RCTC family. As an actor she most recently appeared in our fall production of Ghost of a Chance as Verna and in Shadows & Dreams’ summer Shakespeare as Iachimo in Cymbeline. She will be directing You Can’t Take It With You in the spring for SAMC Theatre and Jeeves Intervenes for Gallery 7.
We will be in the Cloverdale Santa Parade today! Come join us at 5pm in downtown Cloverdale, Surrey for a sneak peak at some of our cast and crew in costume!
We will be handing out candy and rack cards while you admire all the pretty holiday lights! See you there!
We are so excited to present the Snow Queen: A Frozen Adventure. But first! We want to recognize the amazing crew behind the scenes who have choreographed, clothed and lit us: making this show the magical performance that it is meant to be!

Introducing: Jean ‘Mac’ Blackburn, our awesome Front of House Coordinator and Costume assistant!
More about Mac: After many years working in the ‘outside’ world, Mac became part of the Royal Canadian Theatre Company in its infancy. As Front of House Manager she loves greeting old friends and new, and raising funds through 50/50 (which benefit our mentorship programme so buy them now!). She also works behind the scenes to bring you wonderful shows such as you are about to see tonight. So sit back, relax, flex your chuckle muscles and enjoy the show.
Thank you everyone! Our Purdys fundraiser was incredibly successful! Over $2000 of chocolate was purchased! Your order will be available for pickup at our studio. To organize your pickup, please email Crystal at crystal@rctheatreco.com
Today is Giving Tuesday. We want to show you what your donations have helped us do over the past 16 years. Your kind and generous donations go to our youth mentorship programme, giving us the freedom, time and energy to recruit, teach and mentor youth in theatre. We have attached pictures of our youth programme dating back to 2010, where you can see youth that have worked with our company and youth that have stayed and grown with us over the past 16 years.
Please consider a one time donation, or a monthly donation to the Royal Canadian Theatre Company. 100% of the proceeds go to our Youth Mentorship programme and with your help we can continue to grow and expand: https://www.canadahelps.org/en/charities/the-royal-canadian-theatre-company/
Once again, a big THANK YOU to the VENUE who donated a huge amount of refundable bottles to our Empties Fundraiser. People like you make a huge difference to small companies like us. Thank you for your help and generosity.
Today is Giving Tuesday and we would like to thank our loyal donors who make every day a possibility at RCTC.
Specifically, we want to send a huge THANK YOU to the Venue, who donated a truck load of refundable bottles to us this month. These funds will help support our annual Pantomime and our Youth Mentorship program. We have several new participants this year who are busy rehearsing this year’s Pantomime “Snow Queen: A Frozen Adventure!”. Seasoned professionals and volunteers are teaching the participants all about acting, singing, dancing, set design and construction, costuming, stage craft in a safe, inclusive environment.
If you want to join our team of gracious donors, you can donate once or monthly here:
