We are excited to introduce a newcomer: Kaden Burgart! Kaden will be playing the lovable Buttons!

Kaden loves musical theatre for the opportunities it brings to share lovely moments with lovely people. In this panto Kaden plays Buttons, a lovable goofball who wants nothing more than to bring joy and laughter to the people in his life. Some recent productions Kaden has been involved with include FVMT’s production of The Addams Family, Fraser Valley Stage’s production of 9 to 5, and FVMT’s Sleeping Beauty panto. Kaden has had a wonderful time getting to know the RCTC family and looks forward to bringing some laughter and joy to all the panto lovers out there!

Don’t let her pinched pout fool you, Rebecca is thrilled to be playing the Evil Stepmother, Baroness Hardup, in this year’s production of “Cinderella”. You may have seen Rebecca as recently as this fall as Audrey (Doreen, Joan, and Violet) in Royal Canadian Theatre Company’s production of The Farndale Avenue Housing Estate Townswomen’s Guild Dramatic Society Murder Mystery, …yes, that is it’s title… As well as Roz Keith in 9-5:The Musical (Fraser Valley Stage) this past spring, and Fairy Sunbeam (RCTC) in last year’s Panto. Rebecca is proud to be sharing the holiday season with such a fantastic group of people for her 10th anniversary of joining the Royal Canadian Theatre Company, and hopes that you all enjoy the show.

Next in line is Jodie Aguinaldo, playing the ONE, the ONLY, CINDERELLA!

Jodie is excited to be back as Cinderella! She is a Douglas Theatre graduate who spends most of her time at The Chorus Studio. This is where she vocal coaches and performs with choirs like YVRPOP, PACIFIC SOUL, and SPOTLIGHT. You may recognize her as Stacie: The Snow Queen, (RCTC, Kerri Norris), Ashgirl: Ashgirl (Petras Thrasso and Kathleen Weiss), W/Singing Telegram/Jill: Love/Sick ( Tamara McCarthy), Snow White: Snow White (RCTC, Ellie King), Homeless Girl: Tracks (Denice Warkentin), and Gertrude McFuzz: Seussical Jr. Musical (Jacqueline Johnson). When this Busy Bee is offstage, her favourite activities are juggling while singing, catching up with her friends over a meal, and taking long strolls on piers. She wants to thank every person who has added spice to her life and cannot wait to hear the loudest cheer, boo, and laugh throughout the show!

Next in line is our Demon Godfather (can you sense a theme here?), played by Nikola Trotzuk!

Excited to make good on his promise last season, Nikola is stepping into the shoes of the Demon Godfather and bringing evil back with a vengeance! It’s once again been a joy to sow misery and mayhem amongst the mortal world while working with the wonderful folks of RCTC. You may have seen Nikola on the stage last year as Jack Frost in The Snow Queen (RCTC). Some of his other favorite credits include Frank Abagnale Jr. in Catch Me If You Can (Theatre in the Country) and Jesus in Jesus Christ Superstar (Newbury Art Concepts). He’d like to thank all of his family, friends, peers, and audiences for their support, be it in the form of cheering or booing. Hold onto your glass slippers, mortals, and enjoy the show!
