There are only 2 weeks from opening “The Woman in Black”! You still have time to grab seasons tickets (save yourself 20%) or purchase for this haunting Halloween thriller.
It is also time to meet our incredible cast and crew. Without them, this show wouldn’t be possible.
Please help me welcome Sam Brooke, our lighting designer.
Despite having always had an interest in technical theater, Samuel has not pursued it seriously until recently. After thoroughly enjoying his work last year on Ghost of a Chance and The Last of the Red Hot Lovers, he looks forward to working more and more and creating better and better designs with RCTC.

It’s that time of year! Chocolate is for all ages and all proceeds go to our annual Mentorship programme. We currently have 10 new kids in the program this year and we’re so excited to watch them grow and learn through “Knotted: Rapunzel’s Story”.
All funds from this fundraiser helps us costume youth in our mentorship programme, bring in a designer to get their hair and make up designed and teach them how to do it themselves and also support a theatre education assistant for any needed one-to-one needs.
Order your chocolate before November 23rd and it will be available for pick up or delivery by December 8th. Supporting theatre never tasted so good! #purdys #purdyschocolate #purdyschocolates #purdyschocolatier #fundraiser #fundraiserevent #youth
This Halloween season, come see Woman in Black presented by Royal Canadian Theatre Company. Five show times between Oct 31 and Nov 3: https://anviltheatre.ca/event/woman-in-black/
Arthur Kipps hires a skeptical young actor to help him recount his terrifying story and rid himself of the fear that tortures him daily. This story unfolds during the funeral of an elderly recluse, where Arthur sees the Woman in Black: a mysterious, ethereal, wraithlike creature creating an atmosphere of foreboding, ominousness and mystery wherever she goes. Her spectral grace and piercing eyes mesmerize and terrify the locals, the mere mention of her frightens them. Audiences are invited to witness Arthur’s journey as he overcomes his tantalizing fears. As you delve deeper into Kipps’ darkest memories and fears, the line between reality and make-believe blurs. Will they manage to exorcise the fear gripping Kipps’ soul? This show is suitable for children 12 years and older.
