This season begins in October with Woman in Black, written by Stephen Malatratt, based on the novel by Susan Hill, and directed by Nicole DesLauriers. Previously, the Royal Canadian Theatre Company has “done some more comedic, farcical shows in our fall slot, so it seemed right to do something more spooky as performances usually land around Halloween”, says Norris. Arthur Kipps has a creepy story to tell but struggles to find the right way to share it. A young actor helps him present his eerie tale. As Arthur’s frightening story unfolds, the actor helps him bring the story to life. This hair-raising show promises to leave you spooked.

Only two weeks left before our Musical Theatre lessons start at the Clayton Community Centre! Limited space, so make sure you register your child in advance.

Running September 18 to November 6, sign up for a class on Wednesday and learn to act, sing and dance over 8 weeks with a performance at the end.

We offer two beginner classes and one intermediate class! Have your kids join us after school and experience the world of theatre in a safe and inclusive environment.

In RCTC’s classes, students will explore the fundamentals of musical theatre, including vocal techniques, basic dancing and choreography, building characters, and stage presence. Through personalized instruction and constructive feedback, our instructors empower each student to discover their unique voice and express themselves with confidence on stage.
