Please like and share our intrepid director of Cheaters, Amanda Haggett! You may recognize her from previous RCTC shows, “The Farndale Avenue Housing Estate Townswomen’s Guild Dramatic Society Murder Mystery” or “Ghost of a Chance”.
Amanda (she/her) is a multi-disciplinary artist who has had such fun telling this story with a group of fabulous creatives. She has received her BFA in Acting, a Masters in Business Management and a participation ribbon in Shot Put from very reputable institutions. She has taken on various roles in bringing shows to life; both with RCTC and beyond. Previous directing credits include Check Please (Royal Canadian Theatre Company), Reach (SAMC Theatre) and musical directing for Ignite Theatre’s production of Disney’s Newsies. Select acting credits include Gordon/O’Reilly in The Farndale Avenue Housing Estate Townswomen’s Guild Dramatic Society Murder Mystery (Royal Canadian Theatre Company), Rosalind in As You Like It (Shadows & Dreams) and Diana Barry in Anne of Green Gables: The Musical (SAMC Theatre). A massive thank you to this fabulous cast, crew and to my stage manager and partner in life Tiff who kept me sane throughout this process.
