KNOTTED: RAPUNZEL’S STORY by Crystal Weltzin, Music by Argel Monte de Ramos.
Directed by Kerri Norris for the The Royal Canadian Theatre Company
CASTING non-union Ensemble – VOLUNTEER unpaid positions (All Ages). All ethnicities and backgrounds are encouraged to audition.
Comfortable singing and dancing. No experience necessary. Some featured roles will double as Ensemble including students, teachers and Mayo the Panto horse.
Be prepared to read sides from the script and sing 1 minute of a song either A Cappella or bring a device to play your track (Your phone is acceptable). You may be asked to do a short movement sequence.
Show runs December 2024 in Surrey and January, 2025 New Westminster
Surrey: December 20-29, 2024 (TECH December 17 & 18, 2024)
New Westminster: January 3-5, 2025 (Tech January 2, 2025)
Rehearsals:
**While there is some flexibility in the rehearsal schedule for conflicts if you are not available, in general, for the set rehearsal schedule either ask about your conflicts or do not submit.
First Read Tuesday, September 17th
Sept – Dec: Tuesday’s 6:30-10pm (Principals only), Sundays 10-4pm (ALL)
***There will be reserve rehearsals for Principal characters Nov 21st, Nov 28th, Dec 5th & Dec 12th
***There will be a Saturday Rehearsal for ALL cast on Saturday, December 14th

Callbacks: Thursday May 30th, 6pm-10pm (Only those invited to call-backs will be contacted. )
