Thank you the @cleoawards for such an array of nominations. Kerri, Stephanie and Crystal are so proud of this past season and are so grateful that our audience enjoyed it as much as we did.

A huge round of applause to the performers, stage managers, creative designers, volunteers, ASL interpreters and our Board of Directors who made this all possible. We are so grateful to present theatre in the Lower Mainland and we hope we can continue telling stories, making memories and, of course, entertaining you, our audience.

Congrats to the nominees at Gallery 7 theatre, Fraser Valley Musical Theatre, Fraser Valley stage, Emerald Pig Theatrical Society, White Rock Players Club, Side Kick Players and Stage 43 Theatrical Society!

The Royal Canadian Theatre Company will open their 2025/26 season with They Came From Mars And Landed Outside the Farndale Avenu…

The Royal Canadian Theatre Company will open their 2025/26 season with They Came From Mars And Landed Outside the Farndale Avenue Church Hall in Time for the Townswomen’s Guild’s Coffee Morning playing both in Surrey and New Westminster. Returning from 2023, enjoy the Farndale ladies putting on a Science Fiction production that will surely go wrong. If you’re wondering, the title still won’t fit on your ticket. They promise a show filled with hilarity and unforgettable action. This production will tour at the Surrey Arts Centre (September 26 – 28) and Anvil Theatre in New Westminster (October 3 – 5), with Season Tickets available until September 2.

You may remember the Farndale Townswomen from 2023’s Murder Mystery, where tennis balls flew across the stage, the set fell apart and poor Gordon’s script got completely soaked. They Came From Mars And Landed Outside the Farndale Avenue Church Hall in Time for the Townswomen’s Guild’s Coffee Morning, written by David McGillivray & Walter Zerlin Jr, promises physical comedy, innuendo and silly moments galore. All but one of the original cast is returning for this Farndale sci-fi production.

They Came From Mars follows a Community Theatre’s ambitious attempt to stage a locally written Sci-Fi production. Prepare yourself for anything and everything as 5 actors playing 8 different characters struggle to pull off opening night, in front of the author, with the assistance of their frenzied stage manager. What kind of show can this small group of actors with no money, no experience and a head full of dreams produce? Well, they’re all looking forward to the Flower Judging Competition at the intermission.
