**Note: There is no performances on December 24th or 25th.
Rehearsals:**While there is some flexibility in the rehearsal schedule for conflicts if you are not available, in general, for the set rehearsal schedule either ask about your conflicts or do not submit.

First Read September 21, 2025 - 12pm-6pm.
Sept - Dec: Tuesday’s 6:30-10pm (Principals only), Sundays 12-6pm (ALL)
***There will be reserve rehearsals for Principal characters Nov 27th,Dec 4th & Dec 11th
***There will be a Saturday Rehearsal for ALL cast on Saturday, December 13th

Prepare:Be prepared to read sides from the script and sing 1 minute of a song either A Cappella or bring a device to play your track (Your phone is acceptable). You may be asked to do a short movement sequence.

Sides will be sent closer to the audition date.

FlounderIdle Jack character, they are the friend to all the children in the audience and best friend to Ariel. Requires comedic timing and flexible physicality. Played as a male-identifying character.20’s and up - male-identifying actor or non-binary
EricThe Principal boy role is a male identifying character played by a female identifying actor. Strong singing, dance skills and comedic timing. Familiarity with traditional Panto character roles necessary. Must be comfortable working in heeled shoes.20’s and up - Female identifying or non binary
BisqueIdle Jane character. Smart, savvy and clever. Requires comedic timing and flexible physicality. Played as a female-identifying character.20’s and up - female identifying actor or non-binary
King TritonThe King of the Pacific and Ariel's father.Open 20+ - Open to male-identifying, female-identifying or non-binary. Will play a male-identifying character.
DebrisSidekick to the lead villain. Requires comedic timing and flexible physicality.16 and up - Open to male-identifying, female-identifying or non-binary.
DetritusSidekick to the lead villain. Requires comedic timing and flexible physicality.16 and up - Open to male-identifying, female-identifying or non-binary.
EnsembleComfortable singing and dancing. No experience necessary. Ensemble includes the following characters: Fish, merpeople, villagers, blacklight and Bog Beasts.All Ages - Open to male-identifying, female-identifying or non-binary.
Anyone 16 and older must complete a Volunteer Police Information Check as we work with children and vulnerable peoples. This is completed by RCTC on the first day of rehearsal.
